The ensemble came out first (the Orcs, Ents, and Elves who played their part in the story, but who had little or no lines.) Then Arwen and Strider made their entrance, lovingly embracing each other before they caltowed their audience. Gandalf and Saruman came out together, then Gimili and Gollum. All met their relative level of applause from the theatre goers; it should have pumped me for going out for my bow, but instead, I was scared out of my wits.
